"It infuriates me to be wrong when I know I'm right." Moliere
I saw that quote yesterday on Answers.com and thought to myself, I know someone else who feels the same way -- are they related? So, the saga continues and basically I'm just really tired of it. I guess being flexible isn't great when it leads to you being f*cked up the *ss. And, because I've never been good at sports, I'm not that great at returning tennis serves, insults, snide remarks, or ill wishes. ARGHHHH, all those years of telling my kids to "be the better person" and not to "lower themselves to the same level as the offendeer" have made me the target of insensitive bullies. Maybe I'm just tired because I had to wake up at 4:30 this morning so I could leave at 5:30 so I could be at a doctor's appointment at 6:30. WTF is in the office at 6:30?! Apparently my doctor is, and apparently this is a regular occurrence for him -- I can think of a number of things that could account for someone being in the office at that time, none of them very happy. I used to be "in the office" at 6:30 a.m., but that was when I worked at home and "in the office" just meant I had to stumble downstairs in my pjs with a coffee and turn on the computer. Ah, those were the days.... Speaking of computers, mine arrived yesterday as I had suspected. With great restraint I didn't even break the taped seals. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing right -- so I am going to take my time this weekend (or Friday night) and reinstall all of my favorite software and get the network up and running once again. Yay me! Here's a few more quotes that I discovered today. Illegal aliens have always been a problem in the United States. Ask any Indian.
